At Hiking N Travel Sales, we want you to be completely satisfied with your outdoor adventure gear. If you’re not happy with your purchase of tents, camping equipment, or accessories, our straightforward returns policy makes it easy to return or exchange items.

Our Returns Policy

You may return most new, unused items in their original packaging within 15 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Some products have different return requirements (see below).

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Used camping equipment (tents, sleeping bags, etc.)
  • Opened food or fuel products from our Camp Kitchens range
  • Personalised or custom-made items
  • AL-KO spares and parts that have been installed or used

How to Return an Item

Step 1: Request a Return

Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

Step 2: Package Your Return

Once approved, please:

  1. Repackage the item in its original packaging with all tags attached
  2. Include a copy of your order confirmation or packing slip
  3. Securely seal the package to prevent damage in transit

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days
  • Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Note: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

Exchanges

For exchanges:

  1. Follow the standard return process above
  2. Clearly indicate the replacement item you want in your return request
  3. We’ll ship your replacement once we receive the original item

If the replacement item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • We’ll arrange a free return shipping label if needed
  • You may choose between replacement (subject to availability) or refund
